Day-by-day itinerary*:

February 15

We meet in Anchorage at 4:00 PM — and our journey begins! After getting acquainted with the city, we head to Palmer, where we check into a cozy house that will be our comfortable base for the entire week. In the evening, we'll have a festive dinner, followed by an exciting "hunt" for the Northern Lights. How? Over a glass of wine, in pleasant company, right from the terrace of our house. We'll also monitor other locations, and if the Lights are better visible elsewhere, we'll offer to take you there!

February 16

Hike to the mountains to an abandoned gold miners' village. Wearing snowshoes, we'll learn to move through deep snow. We'll also try building a real snow cave and learn more about the characteristics of a snowy slope.

February 17

This day is perhaps the most unique! Only two companies offer a trip to this amazing frozen lake with icebergs, and we are one of them! The snowmobile start begins right from our house. Along the way, we'll see a stunning spectacle — three glaciers converging in one place, frozen waterfalls, and icebergs of the most whimsical shapes. And if we're lucky, we'll peek into an ice cave! In the evening, after returning, a hot sauna and a delicious home-cooked dinner await us at the "Adventurer's Refuge" — our cozy base and home. And, of course, we continue hunting for the Northern Lights — this is one of the best places to observe them!

February 18

In the morning, we'll go cross-country skiing. Then we'll walk through the snow-covered forest to a frozen waterfall.

February 19

Alaska's premier ski resort. A great variety of trails and short lift lines will appeal to experienced skiers and snowboarders. And for those who have never tried it — this is the perfect opportunity to learn alpine skiing with our guide. Option for adults (18+): a day at the spa complex instead of alpine skiing, and a walk through the snow-covered forest. If desired — you can combine both options (ask us about this!)

February 20

The famous Matanuska Glacier is beautiful both in winter and summer. We'll see whimsical ice formations creating tunnels, caves, and ice walls. It's only possible to look so deep into the glacier's interior in winter! And only with our guide — can you go deeper into the glacier and try ice climbing. Of course — with safety equipment, ice axes, crampons, and all necessary gear. A new experience to add to your memories!) In the evening, as always — we'll return to the warm house and a delicious dinner.

February 21

Meet the legendary sled dogs and their experienced mushers! We'll learn everything about the famous Iditarod race and even ride on these amazing participating dogs. After that, we'll go ice skating on the frozen lake, completing our adventure. Transfer to the city, and to Anchorage airport around 6 PM.

Program starts February 15 at 6 PM, ends — February 21 at 6 PM at Anchorage airport.
